To promote interest in science among our area’s young people

The Science Fair usually alternates between hosts, the Carlisle Area School District and the South Middleton School District.

From I-81 north-bound, take exit 48. Turn right on the exit ramp and stay in the right lane. Turn right then left to go south on Old Forge Road towards Boiling Springs (becomes N. Front Street). Turn right onto Springville Road, travel about 1/4 mile, Turn left just past cemetery. The sign for YBMS is past the entrance.

From I-81 south-bound, take exit 49. Turn left on the exit ramp, then right at the first light, towards the Target shopping center. Turn left at the next light. Go straight through next traffic light, then left at stop sign onto Old Forge Road towards Boiling Springs (becomes N. Front Street). Turn right onto Springville Road, travel about 1/4 mile, Turn left just cemetery. The sign for YBMS is past the entrance.

 

From Rt.34 (the Holly Pike), take Rt.174 east, look for W. Springville Road to branch off to the left. Take that left and YBMS will be on the right about 1/2 mile ahead.

From I-81 north-bound, take exit 48. Turn right on the exit ramp and stay in the right lane. Turn right then left to go south on Old Forge Road towards Boiling Springs (becomes N. Front Street). Turn right onto Forge Road, enter building at near end.

From I-81 south-bound, take exit 49. Turn left on the exit ramp, then right at the first light, towards the Target shopping center. Turn left at the next light. Go straight through next traffic light, then left at stop sign onto Old Forge Road towards Boiling Springs (becomes N. Front Street). Turn right onto Forge Road, enter building at near end.

From Rt.34 (the Holly Pike), take Rt.174 east, look for W. Springville Road to branch off to the left. Take that left and turn in to Yellow Breeches Middle School and drive around to far end of High School building.

Traveling from the north on INTERSTATE 81 (I-81)

Carlisle I-81 Exits:
Exit 52 (old 17) – Route 11
Exit 49 (old 16) - Route 641 - TRINDLE RD./HIGH ST.
Exit 47B (old 14W) – Route 34 – HANOVER ST. NORTH
Exit 47A (old 14E) - Route 34 - HANOVER ST. SOUTH
Exit 45 (old 13) - COLLEGE ST.
Exit 44 (old 12) - Route 465 – ALLEN RD.

Follow I-81 South to Exit 49 (old 16) - Route 641, HIGH ST.  Turn right at bottom of ramp and follow HIGH ST through Carlisle.  Proceed past Dickinson College facilities and football field, at next light (railroad underpass on right) turn right, and proceed through underpass, (ORANGE ST) continue straight, do not bear to the left.  Continue straight on ORANGE ST for three (3) blocks.  Directly ahead will be the Carlisle Area High School Complex. The high School is directly in front of you, the Swartz Building sits on the hill to your right (West Penn Street)

Traveling from the south on INTERSTATE 81 (I-81)

Carlisle Exits:
Exit 44 (old 12) - Route 465 – ALLEN RD
Exit 45 (old 13) - COLLEGE ST
Exit 47 (old 14) - Route 34 - HANOVER ST.
Exit 49 (old 16) - Route 74 – YORK RD
Exit 52A (old 17A) – Route 11 – northbound (to New Kingston)
Exit 52B (old 17B) - Route 11 - southbound (to Middlesex)

Follow I-81 South to Exit 44 (old 12) - Route 465, ALLEN RD. Turn left at bottom of ramp and follow ALLEN RD to first red light (at Sheetz store).  Turn right onto Route 11( RITNER HIGHWAY).  Follow Route 11 passing industrial complexes.  At second red light (railroad underpass on left) turn left, and proceed through underpass, (ORANGE ST) continue straight, do not bear to the left.  Continue straight on ORANGE ST for three (3) blocks. Directly ahead will be the Carlisle Area High School Complex.  The high School is directly in front of you, the Swartz Building sits on the hill to your right (West Penn Street)

Travel South on US Route 11 and take INTERSTATE 81 South
